Incentive Trip and Team-Building in Franciacorta for Canadian Solar
Designing memorable experiences means finding the perfect balance between work and play.
For Canadian Solar, which had previously entrusted us with their arrangements, we had the opportunity to do just that. For their international team, we organized a three-day incentive trip to Italy that skillfully balanced leisure and corporate responsibility. By blending fun with business activities, we created a seamless mix of enjoyment and professional engagement.
Selecting the Perfect Venue
For this event, the challenge was to find a location near Milan yet immersed in nature, with ample space for both accommodations and various activities. After a diligent search, we selected the Franciacorta region, known for its vineyards, green spaces, and ease of access.
Historic Charm: A 17th-Century Farmhouse
It offered the dual benefits of proximity to Milan and a tranquil rural environment, ideal for building stronger team connections.
Moreover, the chosen venue, a beautiful 17th-century farmhouse surrounded by hills, proved to be the perfect setting for the various activities planned.
Engaging Activities and Outcomes
A standout activity of the retreat was a wine-tasting session led by a professional sommelier, held in the villa's picturesque setting.
Another highlight was the mysterious murder mystery dinner, which added an element of fun and intrigue to the meeting-packed schedule.
These activities not only served as leisure but also as unique team-building exercises, promoting collaboration and communication among team members.
Results Achieved: Mission Accomplished
The three-day event seamlessly blended business meetings with engaging team-building activities, all set against the bucolic backdrop of Franciacorta.
The serene location contributed to a relaxed yet productive atmosphere, and the feedback from the client was overwhelmingly positive, affirming that the objectives of the trip—combining professional development with relaxation and team bonding—were successfully met.
This is what happens when you skillfully combine the power of a well-chosen location, the right balance of leisure and work in the itinerary, and a team-building activity specifically tailored to your team. As we always say, it’s not enough for an activity to be perfect—it has to be perfect for your employees.
