A Special Team Building: Training, Sustainability and Social Impact
Subito.it aimed to organise a memorable team-building event before the holiday season in a convenient location but with plenty of opportunities for participants to commune with natura. The goal was to create an engaging and educational experience that would strengthen collaboration, improve communication, and enhance diverse perspectives. Additionally, the client sought an event with a positive impact on the community and a strong sustainability focus, providing participants with a meaningful and inspiring experience.
Our Proposal
Bike for Children and Kokedama: Education Meets Sustainability
To meet Subito.it’s needs, we selected a beautiful Cascina, a green oasis with its own farmhouse in the heart of Milan, offering easy access and a fully immersive experience. The day included activities designed to strengthen teamwork while creating a meaningful social impact.
The event started with a coffee break featuring locally sourced products, followed by the “Bike for Children” team-building activity, where participants assembled bicycles to be donated to a local community catering for children in need, fostering a deep connection with the cause. After enjoying a lunch largely prepared with farm-to-table ingredients, the team relaxed outdoors before taking part in the “Kokedama” workshop, a creative and sustainable Japanese-inspired activity, consisting in a visually appealing form of floral arrangement, combining plants, flowers, and moss.
This event successfully combined learning, nature, and solidarity, offering participants a truly unique and enriching experience.
Achieved Goals
The event exceeded all expectations, delivering an engaging and inspiring experience. Participants praised the flawless organisation, the carefully selected activities, and the relaxing atmosphere of the chosen location. The positive energy fostered collaboration and a strong sense of belonging, strengthening team bonds. Additionally, the contribution to the community made the event even more meaningful. A perfect balance of learning, sustainability, and social impact.
