When Liquid Reply approached us to organize a team-building incentive trip, they specifically requested a unique activity with a focus on sustainability. Aligned with this approach, we were thrilled to take on this project, organizing a two-day journey centered around creativity, originality, and environmental mindfulness.

A "Green" Incentive Trip to Foster Team Spirit and Sustainability

First, we planned every aspect of the trip and activities to minimize the ecological impact of the event—a pressing need for many companies today. This is the reason for the emergence of creative "benefit corporations" such as GECO, which offer resources for estimating the carbon footprint of corporate operations.

For Liquid Reply, we organized group travel to reduce emissions, selected an eco-friendly resort on the Tuscan coast, and coordinated an "Eco Design" team-building experience.

An "Eco Design" Team Building: Turning Waste into Art

In this activity, participants, divided into teams, gathered waste materials from the beach and surrounding woods to creatively repurpose them into art. Using collected materials along with items available at our "Reuse Market," participants crafted art pieces displayed during dinner. This challenge not only strengthened team bonds but also served as a powerful reminder of our impact on the planet and as an exercise in creativity.

Cultural Experiences and Relaxation

We also organized a visit to a renowned local winery and a guided tour of the charming village of Bolgheri. Participants enjoyed the resort’s sports facilities, pools, and beach, and later in the evening, a DJ set. To deepen their awareness of sustainability, we hosted an educational activity in the resort’s theater. We highlighted the sustainable choices made throughout the event and then held an interactive quiz with prizes for the top three participants.

Setting the Example for Eco-Friendly Corporate Events

The combination of eco-retreat and team-building activities designed for Liquid Reply is an outstanding example of how environmental responsibility can be successfully integrated into corporate events. By blending team spirit, environmental responsibility, and appreciation for the local area, companies can demonstrate their commitment to sustainability while investing in their most valuable asset: their people.
