Corporate event with guided tour and team cooking in Milan
A company we had previously collaborated with commissioned a three‑day corporate event in Milan designed around team building, interaction and practical engagement.
The goal was to combine structured workshops with opportunities for participants to connect naturally, supported by a central, accessible venue suitable for international attendees.

Venue selection and event design
Venue choice focused on light, flexible spaces that encouraged conversation and mobility. Workshops, breaks and meals were scheduled with a human rhythm, allowing moments of reflection and informal exchange.

The event layout integrated team building throughout the day rather than isolating it as a single activity or making it banally “standard.”. Each detail — from welcome coffee to lunch arrangements — was conceived to support dialogue and collaboration, ensuring that participants could move easily and engage organically.

Cultural visit in Milan
A guided tour of Milan provided both context and an interactive experience for participants exploring landmarks, museums and architectural highlights, creating opportunities for observation, discussion and team interaction.
Cultural exploration was structured to complement workshops and meals, linking the city’s heritage to team engagement without imposing a formal educational framework.

Team cooking as a collaborative exercise
The event concluded with a team cooking session where participants prepared meals together under professional guidance. This activity encouraged problem solving, coordination and mutual support in a relaxed setting.
Personalised aprons added a touch of recognition and completion, reinforcing the sense of accomplishment. Cooking together created interaction and dialogue that extended beyond the kitchen, strengthening team cohesion across the group.

Integration and impact
By distributing team building across the three days — through workshops, cultural visits and the cooking session — the event maintained consistency and momentum. Each activity reinforced the others, creating trust and encouraging participants to collaborate naturally.
Feedback highlighted the fluidity of the experience and the effectiveness of the approach in fostering authentic relationships within the team. The client reaffirmed their appreciation, noting the organisers’ ability to interpret and enhance team dynamics successfully.
