The Client's Request
A beach team building for Ace Works
Ace Works came to us with a brief that was as clear as it was exciting: to organise a dynamic, fully engaging team building event on the beach that would sweep all sixty members of their team along for the ride. The setting was already spectacular: a stunning beach club handpicked by the client themselves. The mission was to turn that day into something memorable: an authentic moment of shared energy, camaraderie, and team spirit that would stay with everyone long after the sun went down.
Team Building Milano's Proposal
Carton boat: cardboard boxes, open water, and healthy competition
After listening carefully to what the client needed, we landed on an idea that got us genuinely excited: the carton boat. The activity is as straightforward as it is irresistible — each team designs and builds a small vessel using nothing but cardboard boxes, packing tape, and a good dose of ingenuity. Then comes the moment of truth: the boats hit the water, and the last one floating wins. It is an experience that blends creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition in equal measure, and it could not be better suited to a seaside team building setting. And despite a tighter timeframe than usual, Team Building Milano delivered a complete, brilliant event in just two hours.
Achieved Results
Unity, laughter, and an unexpected audience: Ace Works' day to remember
The moment that said it all was when all the teams gathered to present their cardboard boats, already decorated and brimming with pride, ahead of the race. There was something electric in the air: the participants were visibly united, proud of what they had built together as a team, and radiating a genuine cohesion that went well beyond the usual collegial warmth. The collaboration and team spirit felt like the very DNA of Ace Works. The public beach did the rest: bathers and children stopped in their tracks, drawn in by the atmosphere, becoming enthusiastic onlookers at an event that managed to sweep up even the people who had simply wandered by. Ace Works has been with us for three years now, and they never stop proving it: a healthy, grounded company that throws itself into these experiences with a spirit that is genuinely infectious.
