Every year, Generali’s HR team circles this date on the calendar as part of its Generali corporate strategy review. Not out of habit alone, but because it matters. It’s the moment to unpack results, revisit decisions, admit what worked and what maybe didn’t land as expected, and sketch the next stretch of road. The brief sounded clear enough: secure a venue surrounded by nature where people could genuinely switch pace. Somewhere green, open, properly quiet. A setting where strategic conversations tied to annual business planning objectives could unfold without stiffness, and where informal exchanges would happen naturally. Space to think. Space to connect. No rush.
Our Proposal
Valtellina: wellbeing meets strategic focus
Just under two hours from Milan, tucked into the landscape of Valtellina, a farmhouse relais with serious charm became the obvious choice as a team building venue in Northern Italy. Alpine views that stretch wide. Crisp mountain air. Proper silence, the kind that feels rare these days. The agenda moved in waves: focused sessions in a fully equipped meeting room, followed by immersive moments across the property. Time at the spa to slow everything down. Guided visits to the stables and dairy to understand the operational side of the hosting reality. Dinner took place in the on site Michelin starred restaurant, awarded one Michelin star and one Green star, delivering a refined experience rooted in fine dining and sustainable food experiences. The next morning shifted gears with a bespoke corporate team building activity designed alongside the farmhouse, where participants tackled agriculture themed challenges in small groups. The closing act was a traditional Valtellina lunch, an authentic expression of local mountain cuisine experience, featuring the unmistakable pizzoccheri. Hearty. Comforting. Exactly right.

All objectives were met, yes, but more importantly they were felt.
