Team building on the beach

BIP, one of our valued clients, had commissioned the organisation of a team building event for their Grandi Utilities team (which counted approximately 200 members). The activities needed to focus on the values of cooperation and healthy competition. They specifically wanted the event to take place on one of the beaches on the Tyrrhenian coast near Rome, so that we could wrap up the whole experience with sunset drinks and a DJ set by the sea.

Jeux sans frontières and DJ set

There were many enticing proposals on the table, but we finally settled on “Jeux sans frontières” - the multi-challenged game popularised by the TV show by the same name. Given the group's diverse age, competitions were carefully structured around logic, creativity, and problem-solving, with only a couple leaning towards more athleticism. This was in response to a specific note by the client, requiring that older employees were taken into account when planning team building activities. We booked a luxury beach resort in Fregene and planned a range of exciting games. The day started with a meeting, followed by a buffet lunch, then the beachside team building activities, and finally a perfect Italian-style aperitivo, with pizza and other local delicacies, drinks on the beach as the sun set and a classy DJ-set to create the perfect atmosphere.

The event was a complete success as we met the client's expectations by organising an event that all participants enjoyed. We selected the perfect venue and the best menu and planned team building activities that everyone could safely take part in and enjoy.
