A corporate team building experience in Val Ferret

A loyal client, with whom we have collaborated on several occasions, requested the organisation of an autumn mountain incentive trip for a group of 17 participants. The brief included hotel bookings, detailed event planning for both days, a structured team building activity and a traditional Aosta Valley dinner at a restaurant, all within a setting designed to encourage focus, collaboration and a clear break from everyday city routines.

Courmayeur was identified as a well-suited destination for incentive travel, aligned with both logistical and experiential requirements. Team Building Milano proposed a selection of hotels reflecting the client’s expectations in terms of alpine character, high-quality hospitality services, value for money, proximity to the mountains and clear views of Mont Blanc. The overall programme was structured to integrate professional development with shared experiences in a balanced and coherent way.

The team building activity took place in Val Ferret and consisted of a professionally guided orienteering experience. Following a concise briefing, participants were divided into teams and assigned different routes, navigating exclusively with paper maps and compasses. Along the course, they completed practical challenges including the construction of a bivouac, the assembly of an emergency stretcher and the execution of technical knots. These activities supported collaboration, problem solving and effective teamwork. Workshops were complemented by dedicated moments for relaxation, a traditional local dinner and both indoor and outdoor lunches, creating a well-paced corporate programme that supported focus, engagement and group cohesion throughout the experience.

The off-site required a high level of operational accuracy, punctuality and attention to detail. All objectives were fully achieved, meeting the client’s high service standards. The team benefited from two days away from the city, combining training, outdoor activities and relaxation, and returning with renewed energy thanks to the inspiring alpine setting of Courmayeur.
