The Client’s Request
Embracing Nature to Enhance Collaboration
The client asked for orienteering to be the main activity in their team building programme: a unique experience designed to offer two immersive days of personal and collective growth in a natural setting. The aim was to combine the joy of spending time together with discovering new team dynamics, while facing exciting challenges and testing personal skills in an outdoor setting. It was the perfect opportunity to strengthen relationships between participants, get to know each other better, and overcome difficulties together.
Our Proposal
Orienteering and Survival: The Perfect Team Building Mix
For this team-building experience, we suggested a comprehensive and engaging adventure. In addition to orienteering, which is a test of adaptability and teamwork, we enriched the experience with exciting survival challenges. Participants tried their hand at archery, requiring focus and precision, in shelter building, testing their practical skills, and fire-lighting, an essential part of team spirit. Finally, they learned to construct a stretcher, simulating emergency situations and extreme cooperation. Every challenge was designed to make the experience unique and memorable, with the goal of strengthening the bonds within the team.
Achieved Results
Exciting Challanges Made the Team Stronger
This team-building activity exceeded expectations, creating a strong sense of unity among participants. The orienteering challenges stimulated teamwork and the ability to make quick decisions in uncertain situations. Building the shelter and fire-lighting taught the importance of cooperation and problem-solving, key elements for the growth of a team. Participants tested themselves in an unfamiliar environment, improving their adaptability and collaboration skills.
